      <description>Wow, I never considered them having a separate data center that is read-only.  That replication seems annoying with so many feeds.  Fascinating, though!       <description>Wow, thanks, as always this is a very interesting read on scaling megasites.  It's very inspring in that compared to Facebook or Live's problems, the problems that I encountered in creating my sites are tiny.  Maybe, we can roughly say, if I'm still doing joins or having foreign keys in my DB, then my sites are just not big or complex enough yet.
