Every once in a while I find myself still having to check a few websites directly instead of reading them in my favorite RSS reader. The top 5 sites I still check by hand which I'd love to see get RSS feeds are

  1. The Latest Editorial Cartoons of Clay Bennett
  2. Paul Graham's Essays
  3. The Misanthropic Bitch
  4. The Tucker Max Stories
  5. Malcolm Gladwell's Articles

What are your list of sites that should have RSS feeds but don't? Maybe we can get together and sign a petition. :)

Many parts on technet and MSDN have "columns" with articles that come out from time to time, divided by topic.
I usually end up there directed by bloggers who find articles themselves and link to them, but RSS feeds would be awesome for those sections....

Paul Graham's essays do have RSS feed, there is a link on the bottom of the page you linked.

Autodiscovery would be great thou.

WTF, A potentially dangerous Request.Cookies value was detected from the client... I can't post a comment using my real name. It has a simple o umlaut (& #214;) in it. A really common letter in Finnish, Swedish, German, etc. Nothing to do with security. Really stupid feature, you should always remember turn that of.

http://www.zeromillion.com is the site with great content about entrepreneurship. I have even mailed the owner of the site to consider syndicating his web site using RSS.

The RSS feed for Paul Graham's site is manually handled by someone else, a LISP hacker of his skill should be able to whip it up in a few minutes.

Also, most webcomics seem to lack official RSS feeds, it annoys me to no end.

Thanks for pointing out the feed to Paul Graham's site. It does have the annoying characteristic of not having dates in it. I assume this is because the article page doesn't have dates. :(

Although I despise Xanga, my brother and a couple friends unwisely chose it for their blogs. They of ALL people should support RSS.

They very clearly do, replace in the url that you use to read your brother's site "home.aspx" w/ "rss.aspx".

It's in the FAQ...

*every single site* offering software/driver upgrades.

There is a guy (in the UK I think) that will hand code custom RSS feeds for approx $3.90 each. I've used him before and it worked great.
