" I guess we now know what it takes to be a successful rapper and it has nothing to do with rapping"

Increasingly this is the norm, not the exception. But I like him :)

At least with him, I know I'm not going to be hearing bitches, thugs and hos every second syllable. You hear me gunit? Now that's a bunch of talentless clowns.

He's a really good producer and his lyrics are all right but his flow can destroy a good song. Just listen to Common's Be and you'll see what I mean.

I've always been very underwhelmed by his rapping and his production is hardly ground-breaking, yet he's succeeding without a bling-bling bang-bang bitch-bitch attitude and that's got to be a positive step for the human race! And his speech during the NBC Red Cross fundraiser looked (from the other side of the Atlantic) to be an honest, extremely brave and politically significant event. I'm not about to buy his records but surely a better role model than Diddy or ... better stop there, don't mean to start a flame war but you know what I'm getting at. Great blog btw!
