In "platforms" it says Windows XP, but do you know if 1.1 final will work without the SP2?

I don't believe any new Microsoft technology supports anything less than XP SP2. I can ask around at work or you can post to the Silverlight forums to get an official answer.

What I want to know is: when will Silverlight 1.0 and 1.1 become mandatory install via Windows Update?
