I just found out that Lloyd Banks is about to drop an album, Hunger For More, all I can say is G-G-G-G-G-Unit. Cop that shit.

By the way if you haven't copped Twista's Kamikaze, you should. It's not as gangsta as Adrenaline Rush, instead its more radio friendly, but still off the chain. Almost every track sounds good enough to be a single, definitely all killer no filler.

Lloyd's album is pretty hot. Young Buck is also releasing "Straight Outta Cashville" later this summer.

I'm very excited for Consequence and Talib Kweli full releases. Both are hot as hell.

It's a good summer for rap. Method, Masta Killa, Ghostface, Dead Prez, Slum Village, Cormega, Jadakiss. Also, White Boy's album is pretty hot. I've also been looking forward for Pitbull's album ever since I heard his Cuban Linx diss.

Oh yeah, forgot about upcoming releases for Stat Quo and The Game.

Damn, Aftermath and Roc-a-fella are two serious powerhouses now.

I like the Masta Killa album a lot...

Among my favorites from the Banks album: "When the Chips are down", "Ain't No Click", "Work Magic", and "Til The End". As you would expect, amazing production on all the tracks.

My only complaint with some of the Aftermath / Dre produced stuff is that they all sound the same. I think 50's first album (Power of the Dollar) was hotter, done mostly by TrackMasters. If you haven't checked it out (unreleased, but I'm told it's available in stores now. I got a promo copy back when I was at my college radio station, and I've been a big fan ever since). Banks shit is hot, but it could have just as easily been a 50 or Young Buck or ... album.

That album is actually one of my favorites of all time (yes, really), and has one of my favorite lines ever: "An old-timer who schooled me told me don't burn bridges my friend; imagine if the GW closed and your ass had to swim."
