I assume you'd have to move to Redmond to take these jobs. ;)

Wish I had the credentials and MS allowed tele-commuting. But reason I'm posting here is I'm blocked over at Sam Ruby's from saying the following to Sam Ruby, et al (for reasons which are somewhat obvious, but Sam Ruby was too rude to email me about)-:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Thank you for this info.
Go DARE!! But please skip the wiki, and I'm not gonna suggest work for someone else to do, but if there were more such test-cases and results..
..Well, I still believe (and haven't seen any contrary comments so far) this would be a good start on BOTH improving quality producers/consumers AND a good spec.
PS I'm only sorry you folks don't use a data store that allows CCSID to be specified at THE FIELD LEVEL, and do not see the advantage of code pages over CCSID, either.
Question: Is the XML team located in the Mississauga office (located 5 minutes from my house) or the Redmond office (located 5 days from my house).
Our team is in Redmond.
Uhhh... MicroSoft's "team" is all over the globe. Granted MicroSofties are in Redmond, but that's a too-narrow definition, imo.
Just sorry there's an impression at MS that one has to PHYSICALLY be in touch with someone, to be able to work with them closely.
My experience is vastly otherwise, so I'm not guessing about this one. (I tele-commuted to an office about a mile up the road from my house, for a time. And, at one point, "quit" when they insisted I come into the office to work.. which was not possible due to medical conditions I have. A few months later, tele-commuting proved to be sufficient (and office recently moved about 10 - 20 miles away anyway).
Video-phones will help a lot, but are not actually necessary.
Seriously though... are these positions based in Redmond/Washington, etc?
Do any SDEs work out of the NYC office?
