DARE: True.

The rap songs of the "pimping" genre are not metaphors for anything; they are spectacles designed in part to get the rappers laid.

This isn't a knock on these type performances -- not everything has to be poetry and metaphor. People like these types of songs for the exact same reasons they read "People" magazine.
